Sponsored by the University of California, San Diego, Extension, the Revelle Forum is presented in collaboration with The Neurosciences Institute as part of Performing Arts at The Neurosciences Institute, a series of cultural and educational events offered as a community service to support the arts in San Diego and to underscore the special relationship between the arts and the human brain. The Institute's Auditorium is made available without charge to not-for-profit organizations in Southern California.
Directed and founded by Nobel laureate Gerald M. Edelman, M.D., Ph.D., The Neurosciences Institute is an independent, not-for-profit, privately supported scientific research organization dedicated to providing a more complete understanding of higher brain functions in human beings, such as consciousness, perception, memory, learning, and emotion.
